- Description: Offers internship program offers 8-week paid summer internships for high school students in the Washington Unified School District (WUSD) in West Sacramento. Interns can work up to 40 hours per week and are paid the California Minimum Wage by the City of West Sacramento.Interns receive training before and during the internship, and they can earn college credit through Sacramento City College.

- Eligibility: Washington Unified School District students. Students must be 16 years old by the first day of the internship, and live in West Sacramento.
- Requirements: River City High School students must have completed at least ONE course in one of Washington Unified School District's Career Technical Education Pathways.Yolo High School and Washington Middle College students must have a recommendation form filled out by a teacher or counselor. All participants must also attended one online informational session about the internship offered by Home Run team.
